Three Sisters and Witch Doctor Sculpture

“Three Sisters Fountain”, cast bronze Aboriginal figures, all around 2 metres high. Part of a fountain, (yet to be completed). Scenic World, Katoomba, N.S.W.

These figures at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains are the work of Terrance Plowright. They are a part of a proposed water feature that will portray a dreamtime story about the Three Sisters Meehni, Wimlah, Gunnedoo and the Kuradjuri (clever man) who turned the sisters into stone.

The water feature will be owned by Disability Enterprises Leura, and funds raised by its operation will be used to provide facilities for the disabled.*
